Tuition Refund Policy

With a commitment to providing students with quality courses and a great learning experience, BAC's consulting team is always ready to provide thorough advice, answer all questions, and promptly support students with any issues they may have in choosing suitable courses. We kindly request that students carefully read this policy to fully understand their rights and benefits when participating in courses with BAC.

Accordingly, upon completing the payment of tuition fees to participate in a course at BAC, students confirm that they have understood and accepted the following terms and conditions regarding the tuition fee refund policy:

1. Tuition Refund Cases

BAC commits to refunding tuition fees to students in the following cases where issues arise with the course from the center's side:

BAC announces course cancellation: In some force majeure situations or when the conditions for opening a class are not met, BAC is forced to cancel the course. In this case, students who have registered and paid tuition fees to BAC will receive an official notification email from BAC. In this case, BAC will proactively proceed with the tuition refund procedure; students only need to confirm the relevant information without having to submit a request or explain any reason for the refund.
BAC Changes to Course Start Dates: In cases where a course cannot begin on the scheduled date or needs to start earlier, BAC will send an email to registered students to officially announce the new start date and resolve the issue using the following options:
If the new start date meets the students' needs, the students will continue to participate in the corresponding course, and BAC will not refund the tuition fee.
If students are unable to participate in the new schedule, BAC will refund the tuition fee for that course, provided that the student officially notifies BAC of their withdrawal from the course and requests a refund via email within 24 hours of BAC sending the notification of the new start date.
BAC Changes to the Course Schedule: During the course, if BAC or the instructor encounter issues that require adjustments to the course schedule (resulting in changes to more than half of the course sessions, for example, more than 5 sessions out of a 10-session course) that deviate from the original schedule agreed upon with the student, BAC will officially inform the student of the new schedule and resolve the issue using the following options:
If the new schedule meets the student's needs and they agree to continue, the student will continue the course with the new schedule, and BAC will not refund the tuition fee.
If the student cannot attend the course with the new schedule, BAC will inform them of the schedule for subsequent courses. If the student chooses another course with a suitable schedule and agrees to participate, BAC will reserve the tuition fee (for a maximum of 3 courses) to transfer the student to the chosen course.
If a student is unable to attend the new course schedule and cannot find a suitable alternative course after considering the schedules of subsequent courses, BAC will refund the tuition fee for that course, provided the student officially notifies BAC of their withdrawal and requests a refund via email within 3 days of BAC advising the student on the schedule of subsequent courses.

Important:

BAC will NOT accept any tuition refund requests with unclear reasons or any requests based on subjective reasons originating from the student. Therefore, we kindly request that students carefully research or consult with BAC staff before deciding to pay tuition fees to avoid unfortunate situations such as: confusion regarding course information (for example, seeing an advertisement for a similar course from another center but choosing to enroll at BAC), not reading carefully or not fully understanding the objectives/content of the course, etc.
BAC will not accept or process tuition refund requests for reasons such as "no longer wanting to study," "no longer liking to study," "not keeping up with the program," "unable to meet the instructor's requirements," etc.

Please note that issues arising from force majeure events leading to changes in the course start date include:

Objective events:
Events that occur objectively, or are outside the scope of control. Examples: storms, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, epidemics...
The consequences of the event were unforeseeable at the time of contract conclusion or during the execution of the contract until before the breach occurred.
The consequences of the event cannot be remedied despite the application of all necessary and possible measures.
Group of natural & social phenomena:
Rain, floods, fires, storms, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions...
War, coups, strikes, embargoes, changes in government policy
Fuel shortages, power outages, network failures…

As a force majeure event, BAC will NOT ACCEPT refunds of tuition fees.

Specifically, in cases where students are unable to attend the course for a particularly valid reason (with verifiable evidence), BAC will assist students in transferring to another corresponding course with a suitable schedule or deferring tuition fees for a maximum of 3 courses.

2. Refund Request Process

To receive a refund, please contact the BAC office directly or send your request to cskhbac@googlegroups.com with the following information:

Student's full name
Student's registered phone number
Contact phone number (if different from the registered phone number)
Name of the registered course
Reason for not attending the course
Photo/Copy of the tuition receipt

Immediately after receiving the request, BAC will review the conditions for course cancellation and refund. Within 48 working hours, BAC will proactively contact the student to provide feedback on the results.

If the student's request is valid, BAC will officially confirm the cancellation of the course and calculate the actual amount to be refunded to the student. BAC will refund the confirmed amount to students within a maximum of 3 business days after receiving complete information from the student via email.

3. Calculation of Refunded Tuition Fees

For students who meet the conditions of the tuition fee refund policy and have a valid request, the refund amount will be calculated as follows:

If BAC notifies the cancellation of the course before the start date: BAC will refund 100% of the tuition fee paid by the student for that course.
If BAC changes the start date and the student cannot arrange to attend the course according to the new schedule: BAC will refund 100% of the tuition fee paid by the student for that course.
If BAC changes the course schedule after the start date (changing the time of more than half of the course sessions, for example, more than 5 sessions out of a 10-session course) and the student is unable to continue attending according to the new schedule: The tuition fee will be refunded proportionally to the duration (number of sessions) that the student has not attended. Specifically:

REFUND AMOUNT

= TOTAL TUITION PAID – AMOUNT CORRESPONDING TO THE NUMBER OF SESSIONS ATTENDED

Where:

AMOUNT CORRESPONDING TO THE NUMBER OF SESSIONS ATTENDED

= (TOTAL TUITION PAID / TOTAL NUMBER OF SESSIONS IN THE COURSE) * NUMBER OF SESSIONS ATTENDED

Note:

The actual amount the student receives will be the tuition fee refunded as confirmed by BAC minus any payment processing fees (if any) and transfer fees (if any).
BAC does not refund books, textbooks, materials, or accompanying learning tools (if any).

4. Refund Procedure

4.1 Refund Methods:

Students can receive their tuition refund via bank transfer or in cash directly at the company office.

If choosing bank transfer, to ensure the authenticity and security of the transaction, students must provide complete information about the account receiving the refund using the email address used to register for the course at BAC. Information required includes:
Account number
Account holder's full name
Bank – Branch
If choosing cash refund, after receiving official confirmation of the refund amount, please bring the original tuition fee receipt to the BAC office at: 6th Floor, 244 Cong Quynh Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City during the following hours:
Monday to Friday
Morning: 09:30 – 11:30
Afternoon: 13:30 – 17:00

4.2 Refund Time:

The refund time depends on the refund method chosen by the student or the student's initial payment method.

Bank transfer: Maximum 3 business days.
Cash at the BAC office: After receiving official confirmation of the refund amount, students can come to the BAC office during business hours to receive their tuition fee.
Refund to international payment card: BAC DOES NOT SUPPORT TUITION REFUNDS via this method.

4.3 Refund Confirmation:

To ensure the security and safety of refund transactions, students must use the email address registered with BAC to submit a refund request. BAC will then verify the student's information via email and phone number to ensure that the information provided matches the registration data in the system.
Students must return the tuition payment receipt to BAC to complete the refund process and cancel their course participation.
After receiving the tuition refund, students are requested to sign the Payment Voucher (if choosing cash) or send confirmation of receipt via email (if choosing bank transfer or refund to card account).
