Tuition Refund Policy

Our commitment is to provide the students with quality courses and a great learning experience.Therefore, BAC's consultants and staff are always ready to accompany you to give detailed advice, answer the questions about the information supported, and timely assist our customers in the process of choosing the right courses. We would be grateful if our customers carefully read this policy to fully grasp the benefits of enrolling in BAC courses.

Accordingly, when completing the payment of the tuition fee to attend the course at BAC, the students acknowledge that they have understood and accepted the terms related to the following tuition refund policy:

1. Tuition fee will be refunded in the following instances

BAC commits the students to refund the tuition fee in case of class operation problems which are incurred by BAC, as follow:

BAC announces course cancellation: Due to some force majeure events or the unworkable condition of opening the class, BAC is forced to cancel the course. At that time, the students who have registered and paid tuition fees to BAC will receive an official notification email from BAC. In this instance, the refund of billed and paid tuition will be processed by BAC. However, the students have to support the process by confirming the relevant information but do need to submit any request nor explain any reasons for the refund.
BAC notices of change in the opening schedule: In case the course is unable to start as expected or needs to start earlier, BAC will send a notification email to registered students to officially announce the new opening schedule and advise some solutions according to the following options:
- If the new opening schedule is suitable for the student schedule, students will continue the registered course; and BAC will not have to refund the tuition.
- Unless the new opening schedule is suitable for the student schedule, BAC will refund the course fee to that student, provided BAC received an email of official discontinuation and a request for withdrawal from the student within 24 hours since BAC sent the students the new opening schedule.
BAC notices of change in the timetable of the course: During the course, if BAC or the trainer has problems that lead to a modification of the timetable (changing the time of more than half of the course sessions, for example: over 05 sessions of a 10-session course) not according to the original commitment to students, BAC will send a notification email to registered students to officially announce the new timetable and advise some solutions according to the following options:
- If the new timetable is suitable for the student schedule and the student agrees to continue, students will continue to attend the registered course; and BAC will not have to refund the tuition.
- Unless the student is able to continue the course with the new timetable, BAC will send the student the new schedule of the upcoming courses. If the student can choose another suitable course and agree to enroll, BAC will reserve the tuition fee (03 courses maximum) and arrange with the student about the new course.
- Unless the student is able to continue the course with the new timetable nor choose another suitable course after considering the schedule of the upcoming courses, BAC will refund the course fee to that student, provided BAC received an email of official discontinuation and a request for withdrawal from the student within 3 days since BAC supported the students the upcoming schedule.

Important:

Except for all the instances mentioned, BAC DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY REQUEST to solve any refund problems which are unclear or only from customers’ personal sides. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the students please carefully search or consult BAC's staff about course information, etc. before deciding to pay tuition fees in order to avoid undesirable situations such as confusing course information of BAC and information of other centers, then decide to participate in BAC, or not carefully read or understand the objectives or content of BAC's course, etc.

BAC does not accept or process any refund requests for any unsuitable reasons such as "do not want to study anymore", "do not like to study anymore", "do not follow the curriculum", "cannot comply with the requirements of lecturers", etc.

Especially note: The problems that arise under force majeure cases leading to changes in the start schedule:

Group of objective events:
- Events that occur objectively or objective events, which are out of control. For example, hurricane events, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, pandemics, etc.
- The consequences of the events could not have been foreseen at the time of conclusion or in the performance of contracts until the time of the occurrence of the breach.
- The consequences of the events cannot be remedied despite the application of all necessary measures and the possibility of permission.
Group of natural and social phenomena:
- Rain, floods, fires, hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, etc.
- Wars, coups, strikes, embargoes, changes in Government Policies.
- Lack of fuel, power outages, network problems, etc.

All of the cases are majeure events, BAC DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY REQUEST to solve any refund problems.

In the case of the students who cannot tailor their time to the course as its duration because of some reasonable reasons (with convincing evidence), BAC will assist the student to choose another corresponding course that fulfills the student's needs; or assist the student to reserve the current course for the next 03 upcoming courses maximum.

2. The process of handling the tuition refund request

To get a refund, please directly contact with BAC office or send your request to the email address: cskhbac@googlegroups.com with the necessary information including:

Full name of the student
Registration phone number of the student
Contact phone number of the student (if it is different from the registration phone number)
The registered course name
Reasons of the request (with convincing evidence)
A photo or a copy of BAC receipt

When BAC receives the request, our staff will conduct the review of your discontinuation circumstance and refund tuition fee. BAC will actively contact the trainees to respond to the results within 48 working hours.

If the student's request is valid, BAC will officially confirm the cancellation of the course and calculate the actual amount of refund for the student. That amount will be refunded to the student within a maximum of 03 working days, after receiving all necessary information from the student via email.

3. How the refund is calculated?

For students who meet the conditions of the refund policy and have a valid request, the refund amount will be calculated as follows:

If BAC announces course cancellation before the opening day, BAC will refund 100% of the student's tuition fee paid for that course.
If BAC notices of change in the opening schedule that the student is unable to attend the course, BAC will refund 100% of the student's tuition fee paid for that course.
If BAC notices of change in the timetable of the course after the opening day (change in half of all course sessions, for example: over 05 sessions of 10-session course) that the student is unable to continue the course: BAC will refund the tuition fee following the formulas below:

THE REFUND AMOUNT = THE TUITION FEE OF THAT COURSE – THE TUITION FEE OF THE SESSIONS THAT THE STUDENT ATTENDED

In which:

THE TUITION FEE OF THE SESSIONS THAT THE STUDENTS ATTENDED = (THE TUITION FEE OF THAT COURSE / ALL SESSIONS IN THAT COURSE) * THE NUMBER OF SESSIONS THAT THE STUDENT ATTENDED

Notes:

The amount that the student actually received will be the actual refund minus: any payment cost (if any) plus the transfer fee (if any), which is confirmed by BAC.
BAC will not refund money in terms of books, materials, documents. (if any).

4. Tuition fee refund procedure

4.1 Refund method:

Students can receive their tuition refund via bank transfer or cash received directly at BAC office.

If the student choose the method of bank transfer, he/she need to provide information about the bank account to receive the refund by the email address used to register for the that course at BAC, in order to ensure the authenticity and safety of transactions. That information provided includes:
- Bank account number
- Full name of the account holder
- Bank - Bank Branc
If the student choose to receive cash, he/she shall bring the course receipt (copies are not allowed) to BAC office at: 06th floor, 244 Cong Quynh, Pham Ngu Lao, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, after you have received an official confirmation of the amount to be refunded. Our office is open:
- Monday to Friday
- Mornings: 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Afternoons: From 01:30 PM to 05:00 PM

4.2 Refund time:

The refund time depends on the method which the student chooses to receive the refund, or the student's method of payment when registered the course.

Bank transfer method: 03 working days maximum.
Cash received method: To receive the refund, students can come to the BAC office after receiving official confirmation of BAC via email on our office hours above.
Refund to international payment cards: BAC DOESN'T SUPPORT TUITION REFUND in this way.

4.3 Refund confirmation:

To ensure the security and safety of your refund transactions, the students need to use an email registered with BAC to submit a refund request. After that, BAC will verify student's information via email and phone number to ensure that the information provided matches the data registered on the system.
Students need to return the receipt of payment to BAC to complete the refund process and cancel the course.
After receiving your tuition, please sign a confirmation on the payment voucher (if the student choose the method of cash received); or send an email confirmation of the refund received (if the student choose the method of bank transfer)
