Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst course was formerly known as Analyze Data with Microsoft Power BI Training. Through this Power BI Data Analyst training, participants will learn about creating actionable insights by leveraging various data sets and then building data models using the Power BI tool.

This course introduces the various methods and best practices that are in line with business and technical requirements for modeling, visualizing, and analyzing data with Power BI. The participants will be learned how to access and process data from a range of data sources including both relational and non-relational data. This course will also explore how to implement proper security standards and policies across the Power BI spectrum including datasets and groups. Furthermore, this course will discuss how to manage and deploy reports and dashboards for sharing and content distribution.

Overview

The knowledge and hands-on labs will help participants get started on the way to becoming a Power BI Data Analyst. The Power BI data analyst collaborates with key stakeholders across verticals to identify business requirements, cleans and transforms the data, and then designs and builds data models by using Power BI. Power BI data analyst also provides meaningful business value through easy-to-comprehend data visualizations, enables others to perform self-service analytics, and deploys and configures solutions for consumption.

Course Objectives

This Learning Path is designed to help participants prepare for the PL-300 (DA-100) Power BI Data Analyst Associate exam. Candidates for this exam should be proficient using Power Query and writing expressions by using DAX.

NOTES:

Students shall complete the payment in advance, and not later than the opening session. BAC does not accept any payment after the opening day.
Exceptions: In cases of faulty payment process or students have committed to pay tuition fee after the opening day, BAC will accept as exceptions.

OTHER PROVISIONS

Reserve registered courses

After register and pay the tuition fee for the course, if students can not join the course, they should have an official notification to BAC before the opening session. In this case, students will be reserved tuition and join the next course or switch to another BAC course in suitable requirements.

Opening Schedule Changes

In case of course could not start on schedule, BAC will send an email to inform the student of the expected opening day.
If the new opening schedule is suitable for students' needs, BAC will reserve tuition fee. Students will continue to participate in the course.
If the new opening schedule does not meet students' needs, BAC will refund the tuition fee.

Refund Policy

Tuition fees ARE NOT REFUNDED.
In case of our student cannot join the new class schedule due to a change from BAC in terms of changing the course opening schedule, that student will be refunded the tuition by BAC according to the following process:
- Students can receive a refund by transfer or in cash.
- After the two sides have officially confirmed the cancellation of the course, the entire tuition will be refunded to students by BAC within a maximum of 3 working days.
- Students must return the receipt of tuition to BAC to complete the refund procedure.

Phan Nguyen Minh Truong

Data Architect

Mr. Phan Nguyen Minh Truong is currently a software engineer at NashTech. He has over 15 years of experience in various data platforms such as relational DB, NoSQL, Graph DB, distributed DB to cloud data platform (Azure, AWS, etc.)

In addition to the role of Data Architect, Mr. Truong also assumes the role of Technical Architect (TA). From actual projects, building frameworks of projects (core modules, git processes, CI-CDs, etc.), Mr. Truong has had experience working with clients through defining the adaptive model of business needs of customers. Besides, he is also a member of the SWAT group, participating in bidding for new projects, supporting projects to solve difficult/urgent technical problems in a limited time.
