Quan Thanh Tho

Dr. Quan Thanh Tho is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Vietnam. He received his B.Eng degree in Information Technology from HCMUT in 1998 and received Ph.D degree in 2006 from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

He has involved in many research works, such as: formal methods, program analysis/verification, the Semantic Web, machine learning/data mining and intelligent systems.

Currently, Dr. Quan Thanh Tho heads the Department of Software Engineering of the Faculty. He is also serving as the Chair of Computer Science Program (undergraduate level). Besides the teaching work, he is also a Scientific Advisor of Research and Development (R&D) of YouNet Group since 2011. As a Scientific Advisor, he led new product research and development activities to meet the company's market demand by using natural language processing techniques and machine learning.

Be an experienced lecturer and having seniority in teaching career, combine with his enthusiasm to share more with the descendants, his classes always fire the passion inside every student as well as provide extensive knowledge, practical skills and interesting situations that any managers also wish to acquire.
